Jennifer Brower currently serves as a lecturer and faculty member in the Office of Field Education, working with graduate students. Jennifer’s area of practice interest and experience includes administration, policy, immigrants and refugees and communities of color.

Jennifer’s career began working with African American children, Latino families, and refugee adults and foster youth in Michigan. After receiving her MSW at the UW in Seattle she worked at Sound Mental Health, International Community Health Services, the Washington State Legislature, Shoreline and Bellevue Community Colleges, Inter*Im Community Development Association and the Nonprofit Assistance Center.

Jennifer has spent the last decade working for Asian & Pacific Islander Women's rights through organizations like the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum (NAPAWF) and API Chaya (formally API Women and Family Safety Center) with a special emphasis on human trafficking and reproductive justice issues.

Jennifer received her MSW in 2002 from the University of Washington and her BASW from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
