Please welcome Ty Ngo to the School of Social Work team! Ty Ngo will join the Office of the Dean on April 15 as a grants manager.
Ty has worked with the UW Information School for 20 years where he managed the operational funds for the school and provided fiscal and compliance expertise. Ty was integral in the I-School’s transition to Workday and brings subject-matter expertise on procurement, reporting and analytics, and business process flow through Workday.
At the School of Social Work, Ty will manage a portfolio of research grants, contracts and other funds for several research faculty. His eye for details, deadline and fiscal processes will help ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and data, while maintaining an eye for compliance and maximizing the impact and use of funds.
Ty has lived in the Seattle area since coming to the U.S. with his family in 1981, with 25 years in Kirkland and the last 18 years in Bothell. He lives with his wife, three teenage children and a cat.
