Cindy is a program coordinator for the UW School of Social Work CWTAP program, supporting the field advisors. Before working at the UW, Cindy graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in communications. Once graduated, Cindy moved to Los Angeles to work at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. The best experience of working there was being able to attend the Oscars every year. After a few years in LA, Cindy decided to change things up by moving to China to teach English to children. There, her love for children and education blossomed. Since moving back to the United States, Cindy has worked with students at every level of education, from daycare to high school, and now she enjoys supporting students at the collegiate level.
